NOTICE OF PROPOSED RENEWAL AND MODIFICATION OF A MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE LANDFILL PERMIT UNDER THE ALABAMA SOLID WASTES AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS MANAGEMENT ACT AND REQUEST FOR COMMENTS
PUBLIC HEARING - 422
Perry County Associates, LLC,has applied for a permit to modify and continue to operate a municipal solid waste landfill known as the Arrowhead Landfill (Permit 53-03).
On July 27, 2016, the Department published notice of a public hearing to receive oral comments scheduled for September 6, 2016, in the auditorium of the Uniontown Municipal Building located at 100 Front Street, Uniontown, Alabama at 6:00 PM.
Persons wishing to comment in writing may do so to the Department's contact Russell A. Kelly, Chief, Permits and Services Division, ADEM, 1400 Coliseum Blvd., Montgomery, Alabama, 36110-2400 or PO Box 301463; Montgomery, Alabama 36130-1463 by 5:00 PM on September 13, 2016. In order to affect final decisions, comments must offer technically substantial information that is applicable to the proposed permit.
